Q school 2016 has begun. Trevor Cone, fresh off his first professional win on the G-Pro Tour last week, is sitting in good position after 2 rounds in the first stage in Florence, SC. He is 1 shot off the leader in T2. Maclain Huge is also in Florence and sits T13 after 2 rounds. Top 25 will move on to the second stage in November. So far so good for both Hokies.

Jurrian van der Vaart is in the Kazakhstan Open on the ECT. He hasn't been able to break out of his latest funk as of yet, and has dropped to 27th on the moneylist after missed cuts in 5 of his last 6 starts. He sits T34 after the first round of golf.

Scott Vincent is T19 after the first round of the Shinhan Donghae Open in Korea on the Asian Tour. This is his 3rd start of the season on the Asian Tour. Looks like he'll be making his living on the Asian Tour for the next month or so, likely until the second stage of Q school starts up.

Web.com Tour Championship is next week, so we'll see if BDJ is able to take the extra week to heal up and make that start for his last shot at securing a PGA Tour card for next season.
